3D Airplane Flight Simulator Designed and Developed in Unity

I designed and developed this fully featured 3D Airplane Flight Simulator using Unity and C#, handling the entire development process from initial concept and game design to final build and deployment. The project was built with a strong focus on realism, smooth gameplay, and technical stability, ensuring an immersive flight simulation experience across both mobile and PC platforms. Every system in the game was carefully planned and implemented to create a balanced combination of realistic airplane behavior, intuitive controls, and visually engaging environments.

The core gameplay centers around realistic flight mechanics, including smooth airplane movement, responsive pitch, roll, and yaw controls, and a functional runway takeoff system that simulates real-world aircraft acceleration and lift behavior. I implemented real-time speed and altitude indicators, along with interactive UI buttons and on-screen controls, allowing players to easily manage the aircraft during takeoff, flight, and landing. Special attention was given to control sensitivity and physics-based movement to ensure stable and natural airplane handling at all times.

In addition to gameplay mechanics, I fully designed and optimized the 3D environment, including terrain, runway layout, sky elements, lighting setup, and atmospheric effects to enhance visual realism and immersion. Lighting and rendering were carefully optimized to maintain high visual quality while ensuring stable performance across different hardware configurations. The UI/UX was designed to be clean, minimal, and user-friendly, providing essential flight information without distracting the player from the flying experience.

Performance optimization was a core part of the development process, with efficient C# scripting, optimized assets, and careful resource management to ensure smooth frame rates and consistent gameplay on a wide range of devices. The project follows clean, modular, and scalable architecture, making it easy to expand with additional features such as missions, multiple aircraft, weather systems, multiplayer functionality, or monetization integrations.

This project showcases my expertise in Unity 3D game development, flight simulation mechanics, physics-based movement, UI/UX implementation, 3D environment design, lighting, and cross-platform optimization. It demonstrates my ability to independently deliver complete, polished, and production-ready simulation games that meet professional quality standards and are ready for future expansion.
