I developed this high-quality 3D truck driving simulator using Unity and C#, with the goal of delivering a visually immersive, realistic, and performance-optimized gameplay experience across both mobile and PC platforms. Throughout this project, I managed the complete game design and full-cycle development process, from initial gameplay planning and system architecture to final polishing and optimization. The simulator is designed to provide players with a satisfying and authentic truck driving experience, combining realistic vehicle behavior with engaging and intuitive gameplay mechanics.
The core of the game revolves around a carefully implemented driving system that includes smooth and responsive steering, accurate acceleration and braking, and stable directional controls that reflect the heavy nature of a truck. Considerable effort was put into fine-tuning vehicle physics to ensure consistent handling across different terrains and camera angles. Dynamic gameplay elements, such as timed challenges and responsive camera switching, were integrated to increase player engagement and maintain a strong sense of progression throughout gameplay.
A strong emphasis was placed on UI/UX design to ensure accessibility and ease of use for both mobile and PC players. The game features an intuitive and interactive interface, including on-screen steering controls, brake and acceleration buttons, a functional timer system, camera switching options, and a clear gameplay HUD that provides essential information without distracting the player. All UI elements were optimized for touch input and different screen resolutions, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.
The environment was built as a visually rich 3D urban setting, enhanced with optimized lighting, detailed textures, smooth animations, and environmental assets that contribute to a realistic and immersive atmosphere. Performance optimization played a critical role throughout development, with careful management of assets, scripts, and rendering techniques to ensure stable FPS, fast load times, and smooth gameplay on a wide range of hardware configurations.
The entire project is structured using clean, modular, and scalable C# scripting, allowing for easy maintenance and future expansion with additional features such as new levels, advanced missions, weather systems, AI traffic, or monetization integrations. This project demonstrates my expertise in Unity 3D game development, realistic vehicle simulation, UI/UX design, cross-platform optimization, and professional game architecture, showcasing my ability to deliver complete, polished, and production-ready driving simulation games.
